The story behind the product:

From the exotic island of Bali, long known for its colorful culture, comes a native artisan whose gifts have touched the lives of collectors and indigents. In 1993, Pramana Suantara opened his workshop in the small village of Ubud, since producing some of the finest examples of Balinese artisanship. Yet it was Pramana's experience with the Red Cross that inspired his philanthropic mission. For ten years he provided aid to the sick and suffering people of Indonesia, traveling from Badung to Tabanan. Pramana would often sit and reflect on the Balinese beaches, collecting the hued and motley shells born from the azure sea. Assisted by local artisans, Pramana Suantara shares with you authentic Balinese shell craft and jewelry. Help support and preserve the people of Bali and Balinese tradition.
