The Story Behind the Art

This jewelry is made in a small studio in the North of Israel in a town called Tivon (halfway between Haifa and Nazareth). The studio is owned by Avihu Zur, a master craftsman, painter, organic farmer, gourmet chef, and father of five. Avihu's studio employs many talented jewelers including Bedouin women who come from nearby Arab villages. Avihu is known for his pioneering and superior quality craftsmanship with roman glass jewelry and sells to fine galleries on four continents. The silver used in this jewelry is also 90 recycled. Due to the recent war in Israel the economy is depressed.
