Story Behind the Vase
This Vase comes from artisans in the Faridabad district of India. The factory employs approximately 12 people from surrounding villages. The factory is located in the Fariddabad district of India which is the industrial capital of Haryana. Chout, Laxman, Haryan, Aarif, KisanSingh, Moolaram, Tulsaram, Thakar, Mahadev and Ramniwasji are some of the artisans employed. Most of the men said the money goes towards sending their kids to 'studies' and maintaining their 'shanties' (homes).
