The Story Behind the Art

Anwar says 'I am the oldest child among eight sisters and one younger brother. My father owned a business, but as our family grew in size, my father could not easily meet the liabilities of a big family. I decided to do some other kind of business besides my family's business. I learned the trade of manufacturing handicrafts to take care of family needs. As a matter of fact, the skills I learned have become very helpful to me, and now I am able to feed my family.'
