The Story Behind the Product

Kwasi Asante is probably one of the most skilled carvers in Kumasi, Ghana. His family has been in the carving business for a very long time. He has a large and experienced staff of other carvers and sub-contract carvers which provides him the capacity to supply large quantities of carvings. His carving operation uses fallen logs and government approved lumber. He has provided much need income to hundreds of carvers over the years. He has also used this income to provided educational opportunities to his children and his extended family and to other remote villages as well.

The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.
