The story behind the product:
From Bali, long known for its colorful culture, comes a native artisan whose gifts have touched many lives. In 1993, Pramana Suantara opened his workshop in the small village of Ubud, that has since produced some of the finest examples of Balinese artisanship. Yet it was his experience as a caregiver for the Red Cross that inspired his philanthropic mission. Providing aid to the people, he traveled from Badung to Tabanan. During this time, he would often reflect on the Balinese beaches, collecting the hued and motley shells shimmering on the beach. Assisted by local artisans, beneficiaries, he shares with you authentic Balinese shell craft and jewelry. Through his work, he supports and preserves the people of Bali and Balinese tradition.
