The art of henna tattooing, or Mendhi, is an old tradition used for celebrating events and marking rituals. A small group of Moroccan artisans in Marrakech have come up with a totally fresh and unique spin on Moroccan henna decoration. These candle holders are molded from dense paraffin wax and then hand painted with traditional Moroccan Berber designs in henna.

Simply place an appropriately sized candle, a tea light or votive (preferably within a glass votive holder) inside to create a mysterious, warm glow. When used properly, the candle holder will last indefinitely.

Candle not included. Choose from 3 different colors and 2 different patterns.


The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.
