'Through my work I found that there were many skilled carpenters in my area. After I got married I purchased some of the work being done by these wood workers for my home. Many of my friends and family found that the wood-work in my home was very interesting and I decided to start selling it at the shop. The items sold well and people loved them. Now I design my own wooden decorative items using both intricate and simple lines. These designs are very beautiful once they have been carved into the wood using scroll-work techniques.'
