The Story Behind the Product:
Artisan Benito Dante Amaro Oscanoa was born in San Pedro de Cajas in the Tarma province on March 21, 1959. He says, 'My activity as an artisan began when I was 16 years old. At first, I didn't weave tapestries and crafted only smaller pieces. One day, my uncle challenged me to learn this art. I wanted to prove to him that I'm a good artisan and could learn any handicraft technique. This is how I began to weave in the style of our town and, up to now, I have never abandoned my craft.'
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.
