The Story Behind the Art
'I was absolutely fascinated with the possibilities that leather offered,' says Peruvian artisan Rosario Pazel. 'The first things I designed were holders for lighters and lipstick, purses, wallets, and pencil cases. Eventually I began making handbags. My inspiration comes from the people that are nearest to me, and from a desire to see women enjoy a chic and elegant image. I am a perfectionist, so I make sure that every accessory is perfectly styled.'
